Thorn-Clarke

Thorn-Clarke was established in 1987 by David and Cheryl Clarke when they planted vineyards which were managed by Cheryl’s family, the Thorns, and developed a reputation for their top quality fruit which they sold to neighbouring winemakers.  In 1998, they decided to take the leap and make their own wines, starting with small batches of Shiraz, and the Thorn-Clarke story began.  Today David and Cheryl are joined by their son Sam in the running of the winery. Thorn-Clarke has been a Halliday 5 Star Winery since 2007.
